Parliamentary Engagement That Delivers Results
At Craigview Strategies, we specialise in turning policy ambition into real parliamentary momentum. Confor’s (Conferderation of Forestry Industries) recent parliamentary drop-in is a strong example of how well planned political engagement can cut through and deliver impact.
Held in Westminster and hosted by Chris Kane MP, the event brought together 21 MPs and Peers from across parties. Over the course of the afternoon, parliamentarians engaged directly with industry leaders on the economic, environmental and national security case for growing and using more UK produced timber.
From the outset, the level of engagement was clear. MPs stayed, listened and asked detailed questions. Conversations ranged from skills and workforce development to planning barriers, supply chain confidence and the role timber can play in delivering greener and more affordable homes. There was particular interest in accelerating delivery of the Timber in Construction Roadmap and in understanding how forestry and timber fit into wider housing, planning and economic priorities.
This is exactly where Craigview Strategies adds value. We design and deliver parliamentary engagement that is focused, credible and outcome driven. From securing high quality parliamentary attendance to shaping the narrative and creating follow up opportunities, our role is to ensure organisations are heard by the right people at the right time.
If you are looking to build political support, influence policy or create meaningful engagement with MSPs, MPs and Peers, get in touch. Craigview Strategies can help you plan and deliver engagement that moves the dial and sustains momentum beyond the room.
"I would happily recommend working with Brian at Craigview. In my experience, Brian is clear and open about what he can deliver, and then delivers that professionally.”
